Burton Agnes Stud, located a mile south east of Burton Agnes Hall and just three miles from the Bridlington coast, was first founded in the early 1900s by Marcus Wickham-Boynton's father Thomas Wickham-Boynton. Whilst the stud was originally established for breeding hunters, in 1947 Marcus Wickham-Boynton decided to produce commercial yearlings and from there on built up an enviable broodmare band. These have included Even Star who won the Irish 1000 Guineas and Lucyrowe who won the Coronation Stakes, Nassau Stakes, Sun Chariot Stakes and finished 2nd in the Cheveley Park Stakes.

Stables and grazing are available at the Stud. If you are interested in this please contact the Estate Office on 01262 490324.
